OUR FABRICS

All our designs are made from noble, natural materials such as pure linen, cotton, silk and organic gauze. Relying on non-synthetic fibres helps to reduce the amount of harmful microplastics being released into the environment and our oceans.

Linen is a naturally eco-friendly material, requiring much less water and fewer pesticides in the production process. We enjoy working with linen and offer many styles in a linen option within our range.

We also work with cotton, favouring organic wherever possible. Organic cotton uses significantly less water and energy than its non-organic equivalent, which is why we use it for our labels, tags and carrier bags. Organic gauze offers lightness and comfort, particularly for warmer seasons. Our longer-term objective is to offer only organic cotton styles across future collections.

Silk is used in select pieces for its desirability, breathability and natural credentials. We source our silks from best in class mills located in the Far East.

All suppliers use no harsh chemical dyes.

CARING FOR YOUR GARMENTS

Our garments are made from natural fibres and respond best to gentle care. Looking after your pieces helps them last longer and wear well over time.

LINEN

Linen is naturally strong and breathable. Wash on a gentle cycle at cool or low temperatures using mild detergent. Air dry where possible. Linen can be ironed on a medium heat while slightly damp or refreshed with steam.

Cotton and Organic Cotton

Wash on a cool, gentle cycle to help preserve colour and fibre quality. Air drying is recommended. Iron on a medium heat, using steam if needed. Organic gauze should be washed gently in cool water and air dried. Minimal ironing is required; use a low heat or light steam if needed.

SILK

Silk should be treated with care. We recommend dry cleaning our silk garments. Silk garments can be ironed on a low heat or steam gently, ideally inside out.

Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, tumble drying and high heat across all fabrics.
