A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
Introducing our beautiful new branding and the story behind it.
‘Set wide the window, let me drink the day.’ This Edith Wharton quote exemplifies the Mondo Corsini ethos – an appreciation for simplicity and an irreverently elegant approach to life and style. As we finally crack open those long-shut windows and begin to breathe in the new season’s air, we can enjoy a sense of renewal. A little Spring cleaning is good for the soul, which is why we’ve been working hard behind the scenes with the team at Ben Prescott Design to bring you a refreshed version of Mondo.
We hope you love our new branding as much as we do. If it feels like a breath of fresh air, that’s because it was inspired by it. We drank in imagery of the light-filled Aterlier Brancusi in Paris, dreaming up a palette of clay-red, indigo-blue, cashmere-brown, classic white and warm taupe. We referenced those iconic shapes and created our own signature stripe pattern which we printed on boxes, too.
There is our beautiful new Mondo motif – a zigzag-framed ‘M’ inspired by Constantin Brancusi’s Endless Column. When you receive your Mondo orders, you’ll be greeted by these artful oscillations, which we applied to every facet of our packaging, from the tape to our tote bags. It is our new icon – a symbol of timeless simplicity reminding us to make space and, as Wharton so eloquently put it, drink the day. Cheers!
